Big Day Out - Sunday 21 November - Hunter Valley

On behalf of all Club Registers, and due to popular demand, we are excited to confirm the 2021 Big Day Out club run. Be warned, this extended run is for the true driving enthusiast and requires your Alfa to start the day with a full tank of fuel. You will be driving amongst some of the most pleasurable roads and beautiful scenery the Hunter Valley and the spring countryside have to offer.

In compliance with Covid-19 restrictions and standing Health Orders, RSVP is essential and limited to members who are fully vaccinated. Please be prepared to show proof of your vaccination status.

Should you need to drop out, please notify me ASAP so others on the reserve list can take your place.

START LOCATION

1. Cowan Rest Area on the Old Pacific Highway just past Berowra. Meet at 8:00AM for an 8:30AM departure.

2. Members from the Hunter Region might like to meet us at Broke or head down the M1 to start with the Sydney group.

THE ROUTE

Heading north via Peats Ridge Rd to Broke (rest stop and fuel) via historic Woolombi (rest stop). We then cross over to the Putty Road via Milbrodale and head south to Grey Gum Cafe for our lunch break. Then it's onto Colo Riverside Cafe for refreshments to end the run (optional rest stop). Total run distance is 245km with detailed route instructions provided on the day. All roads are sealed roads, perfectly suited to our classic and modern Alfas.

Note; Grey Gum café is typically very popular on Sunday. It is advised to consider packing refreshments/picnic lunch unless prepared to order at the café.
